Remain Active
It is not healthy to remain
sedentary when you are pregnant; neither for you nor your baby. For you, it
will make you be at risk of gaining too much weight, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and varicose
veins and at the same time, you might suffer from lower back pain and shortness
of breath.
If you used to exercise before
conception, continue at the same pace as
you listen to your body and ensure that, you don’t overdo it. If you never used
to exercise, there is no need to start on an organized exercise, all you need
to do is ensure that you remain active. When pregnant, it is recommended to be
active for at least 30 minutes a day four times a week.
